“I believe in caring for the whole mother the same way we care for the whole child. A baby’s needs matter deeply, but so do the needs of the person who is pouring so much love, energy, and care into them.
Motherhood is a beautiful, life-changing journey — but it can also be overwhelming, exhausting, and full of moments where mothers forget to care for themselves. You cannot pour from an empty cup, and every mother deserves to feel supported, seen, and nurtured.
That is the heart of The Nurtured Nurturer — creating a safe space where mothers are cared for, too. Because when we nurture the nurturer, we help families thrive.”

I am a compassionate certified postpartum doula dedicated to providing evidence-based, family-centered support during one of life's most transformative transitions: the postpartum period. I believe that welcoming a baby into the world also means caring for the person and family who are adjusting alongside them. My approach focuses on nurturing the whole family by offering education, emotional support, and practical assistance that helps parents feel confident, supported, and empowered in their new roles.
I hold a B.A. in Anthropology and Sociology, where my studies centered around human development, family systems, culture, and social experiences. My senior thesis, Curated Lives, Hidden Realities: The Liminal Space of Motherhood in Fairfield County, explored the lived experiences of mothers and examined the emotional, social, and personal challenges that often accompany motherhood. Through this research, I developed a deeper understanding of maternal well-being, the importance of community support, and the need for mothers to be cared for—not just expected to care for others.
My background as a nanny has given me hands-on experience supporting children and families through different stages of development. This experience strengthened my understanding of infant needs, child development, family dynamics, and the importance of creating a safe, nurturing environment where both children and caregivers can thrive.
As a postpartum doula, I combine my academic background, childcare experience, and passion for maternal wellness to provide personalized support tailored to each family's unique journey. Whether offering newborn education, assisting with the transition home, providing hands-on newborn care, or simply creating space for parents to rest and feel heard, my goal is to help families feel less overwhelmed and more confident during the fourth trimester.
At The Nurtured Nurturer Doula Services, I believe that nurturing a baby begins with nurturing the person who is caring for them. Every parent deserves support, compassion, and a village as they navigate the beautiful and challenging journey of parenthood.
